Yale Marketplace winner of the 2019 Houston Business Journal’s Landmark Award for Retail.  This 61,000 SF neighborhood shopping center is located between The Heights and Garden Oaks on the northeast corner of 610 and Yale in Houston, Texas. This commercial development is anchored by Whole Foods 365.  We worked closely with our client to make this a pedestrian / eco friendly site, including a food truck area, shaded outdoor seating, bicycle parking, charging stations for electric cars, and pervious pavers throughout the site for stormwater detention. One other strong component is the massive mural, fronting 610, which pays tribute to the Independence Heights community (Mural painted by local artist Danny Asberry El).
