This urban site is perfectly situated to serve the neighborhood in a fashion synonymous with the Whole Foods Brand; even designed with its own fresh beer garden. The dramatic entrance catches your eye with a contrast of crisp gray steel louvers and framing against a warm backdrop of natural Ipe wood siding. Ipe wood, a South American hardwood, has a rich tone of color today; but, will naturally patina over time to a softer gray, complementing the design as it ages. The Beer Garden to the far right of the entrance shares this simplified material pallet as two sweeping roofs conveniently cover the patio against a chopped stone wall, creating a comfortable environment for anyone enjoying a custom beverage. The far left of the building is multi-tenant lease space which rounds out the design with unique stone banding, and sleek butt-glaze glass leading you back to the grocery store entrance.
