Baybrook East, winner of the 2024 Houston Business Journal Landmark Award in Retail, is a pioneering retail development on a 5.16-acre site between downtown Houston and Galveston. The project features three buildings totaling 30,000 square feet, along with reserved tracts for prominent pad users like Chase, Taco Stand, and In & Out. Combined with the existing H-E-B and H-E-B fuel center, Baybrook East encompasses approximately 160,000 square feet of premium retail, dining, and shopping space.
Embracing a ‘Modern Industrial’ aesthetic, Baybrook East integrates natural elements like brick and CMU with exposed steel components, creating a unique and captivating ambiance. The project incorporates pre-engineered metal building fabrication in front of the shell buildings, offering structural support and shaded outdoor spaces for community activities. The development emphasizes ‘placemaking’ with multiple plazas, outdoor seating, game zones, and landscaped areas that foster community and connectivity.
